WordCamp Vienna is happening on the 22nd of April 2017 and we are looking for excellent speakers. The game is very simple: we give you a stage, you rock it!
Talk Format & Submission Guidelines
As WordCamp Vienna is an opportunity to showcase the best of WordPress, and of WordPress in Central Europe, we want speakers who are well experienced and we look forward to well-prepared applications. Our sessions will be 25 minutes long with 10 additional minutes for Q&A with the audience. If you have more than one idea, please submit them all, we’ll pick the one we like best. Please send one submission per talk.
We are planning 2 tracks, and our Call for Speakers is open for presentations in English and German. The cut-off for speaker applications is the 3rd of March.
What can I talk about?
We are looking for great stories about WordPress, that dig into a specific area while still inspiring the audience. The WordPress ecosystem and community do such a variety of different things with WordPress – whether that’s designing, writing content, building businesses, or expanding functionality – we want to hear it all.

We’re expecting your awesome speaking proposal by 3rd March 2017. All candidates will be contacted by 10th March. Oh, and don’t buy your ticket just yet. All approved speakers get a free ticket for the event.
